Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using LiteBazi (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Lite Lake.

2. Nature of the Service

LiteBazi is a charting tool for the traditional Chinese metaphysics system known as BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny). It computes a destiny chart from a birth date and time and displays stems, branches, luck pillars and related classical data.

The Service is provided for cultural, educational and entertainment purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind — including medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. We make no claim about the predictive value of the charts and no warranty that any interpretation is accurate.

3. Case Library

  • You may save cases by ticking "Save to case library" while plotting. Cases are owned by a random device ID generated locally in your browser and live only on the device that created them: clearing browser data, or switching device or browser, makes them unrecoverable.
  • You confirm that you have a lawful basis for the content you save (including other people's birth data) and undertake not to save birth information of others without authorization on shared devices.
  • Cases support renaming and snapshot updates; there is no cross-device migration. You may delete a case at any time from the case library; deletion is irreversible.
  • Charting conventions may change as algorithms are updated: when an old case is reopened and the recalculated pillars differ from the saved snapshot, the Service will show a notice; "Update snapshot" updates that case's saved options and pillar snapshot in place with the current algorithm, without creating a new case and without changing case ownership.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service in violation of applicable laws or regulations;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the Service or its API endpoints;
  • attempt to enumerate or access cases that belong to another device;
  • resell or republish the Service as your own product.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service's software, design, brand assets and original text are the property of Lite Lake. Classical terms and computed chart data are based on traditional public-domain systems and are not claimed as original content.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lite Lake shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Contact

Questions about these Terms may be sent through the contact channels published on the Lite Lake website.
